To study paintings by old masters, experts often make use of modern technology. Today let's talk about one example of that---X-rays. These days X-ray equipment is no longer found just in hospitals and dentist’s offices. Now it’s also widely used in the study of works of art and it led to some exciting discoveries. Forrance(For instance), an art history(historian) in Ohio discovered that the two famous paintings now held in different museums, were originally part of a same painting, probably saw the part (sewed apart) by some greedy articular(art dealer), X-ray shows several hidden figures by (that) have(had) been spilt between the two camplus(canvases). In another famous painting, a porter(portrait 肖像) of a young boy, and(an) X-ray revealed that the artist had once painted a small white dog for(where) now only rocks and grass can be seen. In this case, the technology gives us an insight into how the(an)$ x1 L' G R$ n( h
artist thinking developed and changed during the process of painting the picture. Perhaps the most important question in the(an) art historian may have to addressed is whether a particular work was actually painted by a certain master artist, or perhaps by a less well-known paintest or indicator(apprentice学徒 or imitator模仿者). They hidden brush drop(hide in brush dropper) back in that X-ray revealed meanly(may lead) to definite the answer to this question but not always. Let me tell you now about two respected experts and how each use X-rays of one famous the s treat(Dutch portrait) to support the readically(radically根本上的) different conclusions about it
问题:听第一遍的时候感觉语速能跟上,但是听不大明白讲什么,做完题没看答案再听一遍,就比较清楚讲什么了。然后改正答案后错一个(因为没听懂)。
