i hope all of you(you've all ) finished the disign charpter of reaing on insurence,(the reading assign  charpter on insurence) so that you're prepared for our discussion today.    can get prepared to discussion. but before it(we) start, I'd like to mention some( few thins) that your text doesn't going to( go into). it is interesting to note that insurence exated( exist ) in some forms for long time.the earlist insurence policy is what we called bottom( bottomary) contracts. they provided   shipping protection for merchiam as far     date back as 3000 BC.
& A# ?  ~" T4 T* H     in gerenal, the contracts is (were) no more than green dients.(  verbal agreements)  They granted the loans to merchants with understanding  than if  a   particularly   shipment goods lost into( at) sea. the loan that did't have to repaid. Interest that the long  worry(on loan varied)      according to how riskt it was to transport goods. During     periods of heavy piracy at sea, for example, the amount of interest      and the cost of policy were( went up) considerablely .\8 p+ T8 k& N! j/ }9 c3 ?3 Z8 e# B* `
so you can see how insurence help to(helped) encourage international trade. even  the most cautious merchant became willing to risk  shipping their   goods over   long distence not to  mention in hazardous  whether conditions ,when they have this kind pretoction  available.  Genetally speaking, the basic of form of  insurence policy has been pretty much same  since   middle age . there are 4 points  that salient  and then maitain( remain) paramount   in all policies today.this is outline of charpter of 6 and serve as the basise of rest of today's disccusion and can any of you( anyone) tell me what one of those point might be?         - c7 s!
