136. Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Playing a game is fun only when you win. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Everyone of us, including the adults and the children, all like to play games. It is obviously that during our growing process, games play an important role in our life. Why so many people enjoy playing games? As far as I am concerned, I think because people all enjoy the process of the games rather than the result. So I disagree with the statement that playing a game is fun only when you win.
No one can deny the fact that compared with the result, we should concern more about the process of the things we do. So the same as we play games. People can learn more from the process of the games, and that's what really makes them fun. My roommate, Jane, who is a computer game fan, told me that the funniest thing in the game is that she improve her own skill during the game, although sometimes she was the loser. What people get from the process can help them learn a lot, no matter they are winners or losers, their personal abilities can improve dramatically. The moment you feel you have learnt something is your real funny.
Another important factor that can not be ignored is that playing game is a process which makes people have access to communicate with others. So in the games, communication is more attractive than anything else. Sometimes, I also play games with my friends, we talk and discuss something when we are playing, I think it can really help me relax and relieve the pressure from my work and study. It's the funniest thing when I play games. What's more, play games with people you don't know can help you develop your ability of communication and interpersonal skills. No matter whether you win or lose at last, you have got what you want, that is fun.
In conclusion, when judging a game is fun or not, I think the most important factor is that whether you enjoy it. The result of the game is nothing when compared with the things people learn from the process of the game.
