新年的话
[按：这是应小马的HD小朋友写的08新年祝辞。与诸位共勉。]
According to Albert Einstein, time is not a constant——对于贪恋眼前风景的人来说，一年会显得太长；对于匆匆奔向前路的人来说，一年又嫌太短。小马过河的会员和我的学生们，无疑是后者。
Alas, 逝者如斯，流年偷换。我们又站在了1月这个门槛前。按照中国人观点，1是一切的本源和起点。“一生二，二生三，三生万物。”在此，我愿意将课堂上常引用的Bible中三句话，与诸位共勉：
Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it. For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it. (NT. MT. 7:14)
主，要我们过窄门，因，那门是宽的，路是平的，却引到灭亡，走那路的人也多；那门是窄的，路是难的，却引到永生，寻见它的人也少。《新约 马太福音 7：14》
Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. (NT. MT. 7:7)
凡祈求的，就得到，凡找寻的，就寻见，凡叩门的，门就打开。《新约 马太福音 7：17》
Temporary trouble we suffer now will bring us a tremendous glory (NT. Cor. 4:17)
短暂的困境会带来莫大的荣光。《新约 哥林多书 4：17》
真诚希望大家和我自己，能在新年中，挤过人生的窄门，寻见自己的所求，获得莫大的荣光。
