我很高兴  我最近听写的三篇都在40分钟内弄好  以前是60多分钟    感觉是有点变化 ，      最大的改变我觉得是 变的勇敢 ， 以前只感一句一句的听，遇到长句就分段听，  现在就听3句  或者一个长句， 感觉准确率更高一些     我会继续下去的     那个手稿明天附上吧  在另一台电脑里   太冷了 只能在床上听写

We probably all wonder how a word get into the dictionary  take the word doofus for example spell d-oo-f-us mean a stupid or incompetent person  1960 1993  this word which has been round since the late 1960s’ in a slang sense  why did it take so long  well  first of all  dictionary editor like to wait at least three years to be sure word is going to  last  especially slang words they don’t want to put in a new word prematurely and have to take it out in next edition& u- m( o3 d5 @4 A7 s/ V
But even for words that aren’t slang  getting into the dictionary isn’t easy new words have to pass a lot of editorial tests  including how difficult or easy they look up there is a limit to how thick a dictionary can be or how small its type can get before people feel they don’t want to use it  some words have to go out before others can go in  the collegiate  dictionary adds about 10thousand words to every edition  but takes out only few hundred so choice should be made very  carefull

The experiment is based on the well – established observation that the baby stare longer if they don’t see what they expect to see first we are going to let two dogs move slowly  in front of babies  the babies will see two dolls disappear behind the screen  , your job is to record, in seconds  how long baby stare the doll  when the screen is removed
% Z3 ~7 D+ l& aIn the next stage  two dolls will again move in front of babies  and disappear   but then the third doll will follow when the screen is removed baby will see  two dolls  if we are right  baby  now will stare longer  because they expect to see three dolls but only see  two

BIt seem remarkable to think   such yong children can count  my own research has convinced me that they have this ability from birth  but whether they do or not perhaps we should raise another questions  should we take advantage of this ability by teaching them math at such a   young age

What should  you do on  the sleepless nights don’t bother  with sleep pills they Can acturally cause worse insomnia later  the best thing to do is drink milk or eat cheese or tuna fish
