第一篇作文，写了挺长时间的，是按教主的方法写的，就是把事例分开单成第一段了。。。

这是题目：A company has announced that it wishes to build a large factory near your community. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of this new influence on your community. Do you support or oppose the factory? Explain your position.
About 10 years ago, people in my community were all very poor, besides, they knew little about the world outside, for there was only one muddy road leading to the conditions outside. However, things are completely different now. Great changes have taken place! Do you want to know the cause? It is an enormous textile mill that brought all the changes! Most of the people in my neighborhood found jobs there, and new roads were built for a better transportation of the textile they produce.
Nowadays, when talking about whether a large factory should be built or not, people’s opinions varied. Some people vote for it, while others argue against it, holding the opinion that it will result in a great pollution to the environment. From my point of view, the advantages of establishing a factory far outweigh the drawbacks, when taking the opportunity for jobs and convenient transportation into consideration.
First of all, the construction plan can, to some degree, help people solve the problem that a number of people could not find jobs. In a massive manufactory there must be positions such as guards, dustmen and other workers, for instance, and these are great chance for jobs. One of my neighbors, Jack, found a job in the factory and earns about 7000 dollars a month, that’s quite a large number. Thanks to that job, he need not worry about his living any more. And if the large factory had not been built, we might still be very poor now. Thus, we can safely draw the conclusion that the Establishment of a large mill can accelerate the speed of Economy greatly.
Another advantage to establishing a large factory is that with the development of the factory, it would either build new roads or improve the present transportation situations. After the goods are produced, they need to be sold as soon as possible. Only by doing this can they lower the production cost, for they could use less money to store the products. Therefore, the poor traffic situation will be ameliorated. For example, it takes us only 2 hours to go to the capital now, while we had to spend 6 hours 10 years ago, five times slower than now.
Although I strongly support the idea of building a massive factory, I admit there are several minor weak points as well. For example, it might lead to pollutions like air pollution, aquatic pollution and noise pollution. They may do harm to the health of the people living in our community.
However, considerable though the negative aspects are, they can not compete with the benefits that setting up a factory brings about. What’s more, we can ameliorate our technology and cut down the pollutions. Setting up a factory cold not only offer us opportunities, but bring us chances to improve our transportation as well. Taking all these factors into consideration, why don’t people support this plan?
