Compared to learn the life by listening to the advice of friends and family, I think ,learning through personal experience is the pereferable way.I have to say that the former has a lot of advantages ,for example,it is more easy to get and this way
cost less than the latter.However,I think the latter one has more advantages.
Firstly,I think what a man get from his personal experience is more real.The world is so big and there are various things in our world.If you want to know something very well you must try it by yourself.If you don't taste it by yourself,how can you know the tomato is sweet or not.If you don't read it by yourself, how can you know a novel is interesting or not.If you don't try it by yourself ,how can you know what your life like.Only experience your life by yourself can you know your life really.
Secondly,are our friends and family always right ?I want to speak a story.A horse wants to cross a river to the other side,but there is no brige or boat and he has cross it on foot.He ask a mouse if the river here is too deep to cross.The little mouse says the river is very deep and you will drawn to die if you cross it on foot.The horse is very depressed because he has to stay the side all his life.Luckily, a idea occurs to him when he go back home that why not try by myself?
The horse comes back and go into the river ,and finds it isn't so deep as the mouse says.The depth is only the mouse's exeprience and don't fit him.
Above all,both the two have advantages, and I prefer to learn through personal experience.
