There are certain considerations or factors that everyone takes into account in success. Some people believe that hard work is the one and only way which making a dream come true. “No pain, no gain “is the motto of those people, they fail to see luck also plays an indispensable role in success.
There‘s no need to deny that hardly can people be successful person in their life without hard work. Once people set up a goal, the most effective way to achieve it is contribute their knowledge and capability to it. Scarcely does day dream as well as luck lead to success.
However, as I shall argue later, luck has in fact plays a part of success. Without luck, some talents even do not have an opportunity to show their excellent ideas or comprehensive capability. Then how can they carry out their goals? Vincent Van Gogh maybe is the best example. Vincent Van Gogh, who is considered as one of the most famous artists in the world, chosen to leave the world hopeless in only 37 years old. The fact that at that time nobody could understand and respect the values of the paintings by Vincent. Vincent, such a genius, who devoted himself to art, only lack of luck, died in loneliness, pain, and poverty. Ironically, after his death, his paintings become the capital for multimillionaires to show off. Therefore, luck indeed is an important factor of success.
Another possibility is that sometimes people reach to success absolutely with good luck. Some people born in wealthy family, they almost get everything without hard work. My friend Angle, another example of this may be given. She is born in the classes, so she gets everything the other girls dream of easily, the most expensive bobbies, the costly dresses, and even the opportunities to travel abroad in childhood. She is considered as the most successful girl in my high school only because of unbelievable good luck. Even though such lucky girl is rare, it’s no doubt that sometimes luck does play a great part in success.
To sum it up, not only hard work but also luck are significant considerations of success. Anyway, as the old saying ”God helps those who help themselves.” Working diligent for the job is much better than only waiting for luck.
